Pricing

Contracting Newbury Chamber music for your wedding is easy. We require a simple note of confirmation with the following information:

• The date of the event
  
• The time of the event
  
• The place of the event
  
• The format of the musical ensemble
  
• The total fee for the musicians (please contact us via phone or email for the fee)

This confirmation must be accompanied by a $100 deposit. The balance is due before we begin playing on the day of the event.
Selection of music can occur at any time between contracting and the event.

In the Boston area the fee for each musician, in ensembles of five or fewer, is $200 for any period up to two hours. Additional hours are $100. A fifteen minute break is required for each playing hour. (One break in two hours, two breaks in three hours, etc)

For ensembles of six or more, the fee is $250 for any period up to two hours. Additional hours are $125. Conductor and Harp are double ($500 for first 2 hours and $250 per hour thereafter)

The client is responsible for parking fees.

The two hour period begins at the scheduled start time or when we actually begin playing, whichever is earlier. We allow reserve time for travel and setup and are able to begin playing early if necessary.

Harpsichord is available and can be played by our violist. The fee for Harpsichord is $125.

The fee for amplification for announcements or to spread the sound around at a large gathering is $125.

Travel beyond a 45 minute drive from Boston is $65 per player for one way driving time for ~45-90 minutes of travel. Travel beyond ~90 minutes driving time is $120 per player for one way driving time.

The fee to fly a group of four or fewer to Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket or the outer Cape is $450.
