Travel

Newbury Chamber Music will travel to your event. Several of our members are pilots and we have flown ensembles to the outer Cape, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and the Berkshires. We've performed in New York as well as all of the New England states. Our best known flying concert was a nine piece ensemble on Nantucket for a fundraising event. We used 3 airplanes for the nine musicians, sound engineer and instruments. This event was dubbed the "Newbury Airlift."
